Ghana’s rap scene is on fire again as Kweku Smoke throws shade at fellow artist Strongman in his latest diss track, “Comfortable Lead.”This is the second time Smoke has focused on Strongman, creating a buzz in the industry.
In a war of words that appears to be escalating, both rappers exchange scathing lyrics as they battle for supremacy in the rap game.
The rivalry intensified with the release of ‘Comfortable Lead’, where Kweku Smoke didn’t hold back in bringing Strongman’s wife Nana Ama Strong into the fray.
The diss track contains controversial comments about her, adding fuel to the already heated discussion.
It didn’t stop there, Kweku Smoke has once again targeted Strongman’s daughter Simona by making derogatory comments about her appearance.
Smoke claimed that Simona may not be Strongman’s biological daughter and defiantly suggested a DNA test, insinuating that others may have been involved.
In one particularly cutting quip, Kweku advised Smoke Strongman to stop bragging about his financial success. In “Comfortable Lead”, Smoke contemptuously noted that the alleged Ghc200K boasted by Strongman is only enough to cover a year’s rent in Accra.
This is not the first clash between the two artists. Kweku Smoke’s first diss track, “Ogyam”, prompted a response from Strongman in a song titled “Short Man”. The ongoing feud has captured the attention of fans and industry insiders alike, with many eagerly awaiting Strongman’s response to “Comfortable Lead.”
