Ghanaian artiste manager, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, aka Bulldog, claims Kofi Kinaata is more professional than renowned Ghanaian highlife singer, Gyedu-Blay Ambolley.
He claims Ambolley’s tunes are unrelatable and quickly forgotten.
“I am an artiste manager,” he claimed on Happy 98.9FM’s Showbiz Xtra. There were individuals singing better than him even during his era.”
“He wouldn’t have gained airtime even if he came during Kojo Antwi or Lumba’s time,” he claimed.
“Kofi Kinaata is a greater musician than Ambolley,” he said, comparing the Fante rapper to the Fante vocalist.
His reasoning is that unlike Ambolley’s songs, which are difficult to comprehend and connect to, Kofi Kinaata’s melodies are timeless. Especially given what we see in today’s music business.
